Description
The meter enables 2-way measurement of energy consumption and monitoring of current power parameters: power, voltage and current. The built-in real-time clock with battery backup enables the measurement of energy consumption divided into four tariff zones set by the user, set in a daily cycle. The meter’s memory also stores the state of the energy meter from the last thirty days and the last twelve months. The monthly indicator records both the total energy consumption and the distribution of consumption between individual tariffs. LE-01DC has a built-in relay and a programmable overload threshold. Exceeding the set load for the set time will switch the relay. The meter is also equipped with an RS485 communication interface. RS485 supports the Modbus RTU protocol, provides remote reading and configuration of the device. The buttons on the front of the meter enable the selection of the displayed parameter and change of the meter settings. The backlit LCD display makes it easy to read the measured values.
Functioning
Under the influence of the current flowing through the external measuring shunt and the applied voltage, the meter accurately measures energy consumption and additional electrical parameters (power, voltage, current). The meter records in the non-volatile memory the total energy consumption divided into programmed tariff zones. Other parameters indicated by the meter are temporary and show the current values of the measured parameters, which are not saved to the non-volatile memory.
